Magellan Midstream Partners GIS Developer Sr in Tulsa, Oklahoma



  • Develop, test, debug and maintain an array of custom web-based GIS applications, tools and supporting web services.

  • Develop reports, dashboards, coding and queries by working with stakeholders to refine developed products to support Magellan data needs.

  • Provide support, troubleshooting, modifications, enhancements and maintenance for existing GIS applications, scripts, tools and web services.

  • Maintain GIS programming and server databases.

  • Load/Update Magellan Datasets into MAPS and PODS.

  • Develop and document GIS processes and procedures.

  • Analysis and verification of Pipeline projects and records.


  • Bachelor’s degree in related field & 8+ years’ relevant experience.

  • Certified GISP or Certified Mapping Scientist, GIS/LIS preferred.

  • Experience with Python, Java, HTML, SQL, C#, Visual Basic, AJAX recommended.

Additional requirements: The ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing in English with co-workers, supervisors, internal and external customers; the ability to work in stressful conditions; the ability to adapt and respond in changing circumstances; the ability to use a personal computer with the Windows® operating system to complete time sheets, send and receive email, and access information posted on the Company’s intranet; availability as needed to work on both a scheduled and call-out basis; and the ability to work at the assigned job site.
